Over 5 months, Metaphor developed an interpretation plan from RIBA stage 1 to 3 for Hereford Museum and Art Gallery.

The Council’s vision: to create a cultural beacon drawing visitors into the region, transforming the visitor offer in Hereford. The plans needed to be theatrical, immersive and surprising. Most importantly, the museum wanted to represent the aspirations and views of Herefordshire’s communities.
 

The £5 million refurbishment of the museum was submitted to NLHF for funding In February 2023 and was successfully awarded £5million in July 2023.
